In 2022, Satellite Crayon Project, based in Japan, began using colors captured by satellite images to create high quality, original crayons. Based on the actual colors of the Earth, the crayons also enumerate the latitude and longitude of the location where the color was sampled.

This limited edition series features shades of the sea captured in satellite imagery from space, showcasing the diverse hues created by Earths rich natural environments.
