She now watercolors various subjects and scenes of both nonfictional and fantastical everyday life. Waka uses soft brush strokes and warm tones to illustrate a narrative that allows the viewer to hear the story. Wakas illustrations can be found on flake seals, stickers, masking tapes, books, and custom paintings. This coffee masking tape was designed as a personal request from Papier Platz and Waka hopes that her design appeals to all those who love coffee and cafes.
