This set of extra-large (60 mL) tubes of Schmincke Akademie Gouache is a wonderful way to experiment with color and refine your technique. Keyed to the eight color families in the influential Kppers color-mixing system, this set offers easy access to any part of the color spectrumwith clean, simple mixes that just work.

More fluid and less pigmented than Schmincke’s premium Horadam Gouache line, Akademie Gouache can be used straight from the tube and mixed in more predictable proportions than professional gouache. That makes it ideal for color theory, design projects, and large, free-flowing sketches.

The colors included are Opaque White, Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta, Vermilion Red, Primary Cyan, Violet Blue, Green, and Deep Black. Eight 60 mL tubes (that’s 3-4 times bigger than the typical gouache tube!) in a cardboard storage box.
