FORMERLY KNOWN AS NEO MEGILP

This is the same medium that was previously sold in a bottle and called “Neo Megilp.” Megilp is an old-fashioned art word that most people don’t even like to pronounce, and it doesn’t communicate the tight relationship between this medium and the Galkyd family. It contains many of the same ingredients as Galkyd Lite, but with a stiffer texture that’s useful for many styles of painting.

Just like Neo Megilp, the new Galkyd Lite Gel is a soft gel medium that maintains the body of oil colors, increases transparency and flow, and imparts a smooth, silky feel. Galkyd Lite Gel dries at a moderate rate and remains workable for hours. Colors dry to a satin gloss.
