Ideal for musicians, woodworkers and anyone who prefer a soft, dark line, the Blackwing Matte is the softest of the four core Blackwing models. Box of 12 cedar pencils. These pencils feature a smooth matte finish, a soft graphite, and a black eraser.

The Blackwing Matte has the soft same graphite formulation as the since renamed “Blackwing Palomino.” The updated Blackwing Matte imprint features a Graphite Identification Stamp indicating its “SOFT” graphite core.
