Hug This Tree

The Socotra Dragon tree or dragon blood tree is a dragon tree native to the Socotra archipelago, governed by the Republic of Yemen and located by the Arabian Sea. It has a unique appearance, with an upturned, densely-packed crown resembling the shape of an umbrella. This evergreen species is named after its dark red adhesive resin, which is known as “dragon’s blood”.

This design features a high-quality resin rendered in Sequoia Green, Baobab Beige and Dragon Tree Blue/Red. Polished chrome rings adorn the cap and clip and draw your attention to the central wood ring made from walnut. The shape is slightly oversized but not by much. It gives the feel of a substantial instrument minus the weight; perfect. The perceived value clearly exceeds its cost.

The collection is available in fountain pen and ballpoint. The fountain pen is equipped with a premium stainless steel #6 JoWo nib engraved with the Monteverde USA logo and fills via standard cartridge or converter (included). The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, and Omniflex point sizes. The convenient twist top ballpoint fills with standard Parker Style refills. We have dozens of ballpoint refills to choose from as well as 30+ colors of ink cartridges.
