The turquoise-handled brush is a Tintoretto Aquasoft Synthetic Quill in size #8. This brush has a sharp tip and extra-wide belly, so it can lay down sinuous lines or generous swells of watercolor.

The blue-handled brush is a Tintoretto Kazan Synthetic Squirrel Mottler in size #20. The synthetic fibers in this brush are wavy, with mixed diameters, just like real squirrel hair. They’re just as soft, too, allowing you to mop up and lay down paint in thick, hard-edged marks. Ideal for covering large sections of a page with thinned color.
