These gorgeous, gift-boxed scrolls of washi paper are made in Japan using local materials and traditional papermaking techniques. Measuring 7.4″ tall and more than 350″ long, each roll has an enormous amount of fine paper. It’s wrapped in a protective sheet, then packed in a washi-covered paper box.

This scroll is made from kozo, a smooth and standard type of washi paper that is commonly used for writing, drawing, and sumi-e painting. One side is rough and one side is smooth.
