The Pilot Falcon fountain pen is most famous for its rhodium-plated 14K gold nib, which provides line variation when you change your writing pressure. The Pilot Falcons barrel and cap are made from a highly polished, lightweight resin & metal. The real star of the Pilot Falcon fountain pen is its nib. It has a very unique, triangular or wedge shape to it, with long, slender tines. The nib is designed to add a soft bounce that gives you some very pronounced line variation with just a little bit of pressure. Beware, though, its NOT a flex nib. The Pilot Falcon is made in two finishes, Resin and Metal. The resin finish pens are available in Black and Red resin with Rhodium trims. Pilot Falcon metal finished pens are available in four body colours – Black, Light Blue, Red and Brown with rhodium trims.
